We have mobile in every hand but not education

Many times I have thought that why our country is lagging behind education and when I analyse it I found a contradictory situation that in our country specially in Urban area, we all have mobile phones in our hands, we have internet connections but there's no education. So why did this happen in our country ? Is there everything going correct ?

We are able to supply mobile phone to everyone for nearly no cost but not 100% literacy. In the country coaching centers are growing so extensively and the private centers are developing themselves many times folded than actual job generation.

Students are now more focused on memorizing concepts than understanding concepts. I always hear from my friends that you can find anything on internet, about any topic, about any question. So It means if one truly wants to get educated, he can easily do it by searching on net. My more concern is why a quality education cannot be provided to each and every child.

Some of the reasons I could figure out are:

1. Lack of Schools with quality education: I can remember that one day our Mathematics teacher asked us to measure the height of our school building. It was an unstoppable excitement that arose in our mind that how it could be done. It was the time when he was there to be introduce trigonometry. Education is not only limited to books, the main focus is to develop thinking capabilities of a child. In our country there are schools but they do not provide education, teachers who are guide light of a students future now making path of the students into dark. A practical implications of subjects and topics are just restricted to books and solving on paper.

2. Unwillingness of students to learn: Continuing with above, we have failed to create an environment where students are actually willing to study, learn and enjoy the topic. So it gets reflected in nature of students, they also do not want to learn because in reality they are in such a innocent age to understand the value of learning and improving thinking capability.

3. Mind framework that tuition is must: So when parents find their child not focusing on studies, parents focus to tuition. This have become so common that in the society where I live, there are 26 houses and 4 tuition teachers.

4. Inequality in society: Parents from rich background insures that their child study from good tuition in best coaching institutes even if their child is studying in top class school. So the flow of portion of wealth of rich people accumulated the financials of coaching institutes and they keep their fees on the limitless maximum.

In turn, those poor student who are studying in government school or even in private school, could not afford coaching and end up nowhere.

5. Other reasons: Apart from above 4, we could ask government to introduce more teachers in school, better education system, but this is just nailing anchor with hammer.

So I can write here that I dream of a country with best education system, i could also end this blog in a positive note that I believe the day will come but I will not do that, I will signout with a question that whether there is anything you can do right now to make education with mobile in hands of every child?
