Novemeber 2018 EIS answers 1(a) Data Flow Diagrams – Processes are identified to functional departments. Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) show the flow of data or information from one place to another. DFDs describe the processes showing how these processes link together through data stores and how the processes relate to the users and the outside world. 1(b) Data Analytics is the process of examining data sets to draw conclusions about the information they contain, increasingly with the aid of specialized systems and software. November 2018 - Information technology and strategic management 1(a) Disadvantages of decision trees: They are unstable, meaning that a small change in the data can lead to a large change in the structure of the optimal decision tree. They are often relatively inaccurate. Many other predictors perform better with similar data. This can be remedied by replacing a single decision tree with a random forest of decision trees, but a random forest is not as easy to interpret as a single decision tree. For data including categorical variables with different number of levels, information gain in decision trees is biased in favor of those attributes with more levels. Calculations can get very complex, particularly if many values are uncertain and/or if many outcomes are linked. 1(b) Resilience refers to the ability of a network to recoer from any kind of error like connection failure, loss of data etc. Contention refers to the situation that arises when there is a conflict fo

This morning I woke up and found that my unlimited monthly package has expired, I thought no worry I still got some balance on my main account, will do recharge in a couple of days. Just to check the balance, I dialwd *123# and found that my main balance is also going to expire in 3 days, that's strange. I was under an impression that it is for life time at least till 2020 or 2021. This is something which company claimed when I used to recharge earlier that balance is with lifetime validity. That's a direct case of cheating with customers. Even this happened with my earlier Idea number, where my outgoing services were stopped due to the fact that I didn't had enough minimum balance on account. The main reasons I found that these companies have immense pressure to improve Average revenue per user. But to do that, changing policies and refusal from what promised earlier is not at all ethical way to doing. I am more worry about the people in village who own a mobile and a
